the trip - Africa 2007/2008

Bild von unsFor more than a whole year we were exploring Africa by car; starting in October 2007 we returned to Germany in November 2008. We, that ist Teresa, mexican and myself, Achim, german.

We would like to invite you to virtually travel with us and hope you have fun reading about some of our 'adventures' in the travel jounal and viewing the photos

Please excuse that the english version is not complete, yet, but we have just begun to translate it recently.

after a long break continued the translation

Well, we're not proceeding quickly but we have at least put in all the fotos. Have a look at the newest addition - Namibia

we started the translation to english

We are in Namibia, relaxing and having some longoverdue maintenance done on the car. Finally the rain is getting less as well.

We are in the Kongo! As planned we crossed the central African region quite quickly and try to get the visa for angola soon

We took the bend. For a while we'll go southbound. Leaving West Africa we are going to Cameroon now

Nigeria, the country of endless horror stories by other travellers. We'll see how much of that is true

I've lost 4 Kilo, Teresa none. Is it a consequence of her good appetite or only the reconvalescence from the malaria she had in Guinea. After leaving Mali we are entering Burkina Faso where we find the first chance to measure our weight on the whole trip.
